All the Proofing papers exhibit quick drying qualities with HP Vivera pigment inks.
HP Proofing Matte Paper (146 gsm, 7mil, 100 brightness) Produces color accurate prints. The matte finish is ideal to mimic the offset printing process available in sheets and 18" and 24" wide rolls.
HP High Gloss Contract Proofing Paper (200gsm, 7.5 mil, 92 brightness) compliant with ISO 12647-2, GRACol, and SWOP standards. Delivers extended range and excellent color-rendering in accordance with printing performance levels set by modern offset printing presses. This paper is available in sheets and 18" and 24" wide rolls.
HP Professional Semi Gloss Contract Paper (235 gsm, 9 mil, 95 brightness) generates digitally accurate and low-cost proofs, emulating offset and gravure printing processes, before going to production. HP Professional Semi gloss contract paper offers ISO 12647-2 compliance for proofing applications. This paper available in sheets and 18", 24", 36" and 42" wide rolls gives reliable and consistent results.
H P's RC Satin Proofing Paper gives the image a resin coated glossy surface creating a photo-like appearance. Resin coated paper has an instant dry microporous ink receiving layer but it is recommended that the paper be laminated for optimum life. It should be noted that resin coated paper cannot be recycled due to the photo polymer and petroleum derivatives that it contains. The Satin Proofing Paper is available in sheets and 24" and 36" rolls.
To complete the picture HP Proofing Paper is designed to be used with the HP Vivera pigment inks and the HP Designjet range of printers and together they deliver vivid, accurate colors for printing professionals. These printers offer eight or twelve pigment ink options for a broad color gamut on Proofing Papers. They are also formulated for water resistance and are required to pass a number of ISO and internationally developed tests.
